Albourne Vineyard

Established in 2004, award-winning Albourne Vineyard in West Sussex is home to Gaultsbrook sparkling wine. This boutique vineyard looks out across the South Downs National Park towards Devil’s Dyke, and is one of the closest to Brighton and Hove.

The idyllic setting, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, is on terroir perfect for growing sparkling wine grapes - the meeting of Lower Greensand and Gault clay ridges, divided by Cutler’s Brook, an alder-lined stream to the south of the vineyard that eventually drains into the River Adur.

The vineyard grows the classic ‘sparkling wine’ combination of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes; pruning, tendering and harvesting are all by hand, producing high quality grapes that give Gaultsbrook its authentic and distinctive style. Our Brut sparkling wine is produced in the traditional method by award-winning wineries in Sussex, and is available at several exclusive suppliers listed on this website.
